Councillor Stefano Borella
Slade Green and Northend Ward, Leader of Bexley Labour Group
Councillor Stefano Borella has lived in Bexley for the majority of his life – brought up in Welling – and has lived in Erith, Crayford and Sidcup.
Councillor Borella is very proud to represent residents of Slade Green and North End Ward since being elected in 2010. He was educated at St Stephen’s and St Columba’s schools. He is a chef, presently teaching in a London cookery school.
In 2021, Councillor Borella became leader of Bexley Labour Group.
Councillor Borella is passionate about transport issues, social care and making sure the streets and pavements of Slade Green and the whole of the London Borough of Bexley are kept clean and in good condition.
Councillor Borella was a governor until 2014 at East Wickham Primary Academy, having previously served as chair of governors at East Wickham Junior School for ten years. His interests are following Charlton Athletic, golf, cricket, food, trains and snooker.
