Councillor Wendy Perfect
Northumberland Heath Ward
Cllr Wendy Perfect was first elected to Bexley Council in 1998 – 2006 in St Michael’s ward Welling. She has been the ward councillor in Northumberland Heath since 2018 and is an experienced Local Councillor. Currently she serves on the Children Services and education Overview and Scrutiny committee and Licensing.
Wendy has lived in the borough for nearly 40 years and both her children attended primary and secondary schools in Bexley.
Over the years Wendy has played an active role in the community including being a governor of both primary and secondary schools. However, some residents may know her through her work at Charlton Athletic Football Club where she worked in club development roles for 20 years.
She is always happy to help residents along with her colleague Councillor Baljeet Gill. The two of them carryout monthly street surgeries and enjoy engaging with residents and dealing with casework.
